This issue supersedes all of our previous lists. Please note! We do not sell wild collected cacti!

 PRICES - Our pricing system is based on pot size. Plants offered on the list are between 2 and 15 years old and are identified with the following codes:

Plants ex 6cm pot, code A @ £2.00, A* @ £3.00, B @ £4.00, B* @ £5.00,

Plants ex 7cm pot, code C @ £2.00, C* @ £3.00, D @ £4.00, D* @ £5.00

Plants ex 10cm pot, code E @ £4.00, E* @ £5.00,

Plants ex 11cm pot code F @ £6.00; G ex 12cm pot @ £8.50; H ex 13cm pot @ £9.50

For customers visiting the nursery we have larger plants up to 1 meter in height available.

 OTHER PRODUCTS - We manufacture and market, midget "T" labels similar in size and shape to the old "EXCELO" labels, priced at £1.50 per 50. A larger "de-luxe" label is priced at £1.50 per 20. Special marker pens are NOT required for these labels, just an HB pencil. Postage on orders for labels alone is 30p per pack.

 POSTAGE - Postage and packing is extra - orders up to £2.50 - 75p; up to £5.00 - £1.50; up to £10.00 - £2.50; up to £35.00 - £3.50; up to £50 - £5, up to £75 - £7.50, over £75 free unless including "F", "G" or "H" plants, please check with us in this case. Orders are usually sent First Class letter post unless very heavy. Contact us first if you require guaranteed next day delivery service.

 MINIMUM ORDER VALUE – £5 for UK, £20 for other EEC countries.

 SUBSTITUTES - Please telephone for availability, or list a few substitutes in the event that an item is sold out.

 PAYMENT - Cheques or postal orders should be made payable to "JOHN HENSHAW"

 PLEASE NOTE! WE CAN ONLY SHIP WITHIN THE EEC. Customers outside the UK should contact us for postage charges. Minimum order value for non-UK customers is £20. Plants ex 11cm pots and over can not be sent by post outside the UK.

 ORDERING BY EMAIL OR TELEPHONE

We recommend that you query availability of plants prior to ordering as some items are in very short supply.

If you wish to place an order by email or telephone, we will be pleased to hold the plants for 7 days pending arrival of your cheque/ Postal Order. Please email your request to sales@croston-cactus.co.uk and we will try to respond within 24 hours.

 YOUR RIGHTS

We try to comply with the EU "Distance Selling Directive" & Office of Fair Trading "Guidelines for shopping from home". Plants are perishable and can not be guaranteed indefinitely, but if any arrive from us in an unsatisfactory condition, return them immediately for a refund or replacement. We aim to post orders within 24 hours of receiving your cheque or Postal Order, but reserve the right to delay sending just prior to Bank Holidays or during frosty weather.

 NURSERY VISITS

Our 20ft x 42ft sales & 75x15ft display and propagating glasshouses are open to personal customers. The nursery is closed Mondays and Tuesdays except by appointment. We are usually open Bank Holidays, but if you intend visiting the nursery a prior telephone call is much appreciated and during show season may save you a wasted journey. We are situated on the A581 just east of the junction with the B5253, 15 minutes from junction 27 or 28 of the M6, also Junction 8, M61. Telephone or email if you require more detailed directions.

Society/Plant group visits are always welcome; we can arrange bus parking!
